We did a big climbing ride last weekend and as soon as we got to the bottom of the first 10 mi drop my rear shift cable snapped.
So here's the quick fix-
Take the wire after selecting the proper gear - you can use any gear you like -
and open your quick release. Wrap the wire around the QR and close it.
You can stop and change the gear if needed-
SIS= Stop. Index. Start.
