Broke Back Idiot, The Sequel....

The hits just keep coming... Yesterday saw Doctor Over Achiever in pain and in the hospital.
First off the physical pain. We all need coffee - given, mmmmmmm coffee, ether ice cold or, um.... super hot! Better sipped, but for some addicts, all in one shot! Yes, all in one shot! Oh oh, not down the hatch but DOWN THE NECK! Yes down the neck! 10 am, his story goes as such that he placed the large cup upon the roof of the car while he was leaning over into it - his daughter gets in, the car shakes, and we all get to see how much his back has healed as the liquid lava pours down it. One should never place hot liquid above the knee.

3pm, soccer, super fun for some kids. Super boring for others - these are the brothers and sisters of those playing - these kids are called "fans". I'm not sure what you call a father with a broken back with 3rd degree coffee burns.... mmmm? Someone else's dad? ya, that's it! Anyway, the "fans" were getting restless - hell this frickin game has dragged on for more than 3 minutes! when a fence off in the distance starts calling... Sawyer...Sawyer, come over here and climb me, c-mon, are you some kind of pussy? oh, and who's that junk show holding your hand?

Sawyer is an escape master, and a professional trickster. He escapes punishment many times by his tricks. Though he is often foolish and unpredictable, he also is somewhat smart and has a good sense of humor. When not getting into mischief or going on an adventure. Many times, Sawyer suddenly changes from his grinning self into a fearsome pirate or Indian. His laugh changes into a bloodcurdling yell the second he falls from the fore mentioned fence, as he breaks his arm in half. He is best known for persuading his friends to paint, a long fence for him.
Oh, not the one he broke his arm on!

Then -today -BBI flew to Florida right into the path of the coming hurricane...
Stay tuned for the future adventures of The Broke Back Idiot and Pals! The only thing is how he takes it all in stride! All this was reported by BBI himself all the while laughing...

Please tell me this is just more Betonte BS! Not even the good doctor deserves this much mis-fortune in only 3 weeks!

Can't wait to see what award recent events qualify JL for!

OK, even I can admit that October can be the cruelest of months, at least for the Laine family, it was worse that Cruella De Vil was to all those frickin dalmations. Our tally was 6 broken bones (4 in my back, and 2 in my son's forearm, and a mild 2nd degree burn courtesy of a Starbucks Vente Sumatra-which next to Peets Major Dickinsons is one of the finest coffee products available).

November has started off better. Why, it's nearly 4 pm and nary a disaster in sight. (Well, I did get called to school today to pick up the twin brother of the broken forarm boy who augered off the monkey bars onto his head, but no concussion).

While I am lacking proof, I do strongly suspect Betonte has put a hex upon my brood an I, and soley to enhance his blog. Mountian scum!

Keeping it all in perspective is the key. My back is healing at an impressive rate; twin 1 had his arm set and should do well, twin 2 seems to have avoided a significant head injury, and I am only weeks from being freed from holy matromony. Can I have a "hallelujah" from the congregation please. "Hallelujah!"

When I go to work, I see people who really do have problems. My current run of misforturns are but small inconviences. 6 months ago I thought I was living a country western song when my ex was threatening to leave with my babies, someone hit my truck, (Betonte again? Fuck that guy!) and my old dog was run over and ded. Now I fondly look back on that period as "the good old days". Still, if it weren't fer bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

Still living the C-W life.
